The Ovation Circle honors those who have given generously to The Granada. Members enjoy priority seating for many Granada events and share in special offers and social events, while providing annual support to help ensure the outstanding quality of our offerings. Specially engraved seat plaques will indicate your seating locations and your important commitment to The Granada. What level of giving qualifies me for the Ovation Circle?
Any gift of $50,000 or above to The Granada entitles the donor to purchase an annual membership in the Ovation Circle. The annual membership fee of $1,000 per couple (or $500 for a single seat) guarantees the availability of your seats for certain Granada-presented events before tickets go on sale to the general public. Note: you must also purchase your subscriptions and/or single tickets separately.

Which performances will be eligible for Ovation Circle priority seating?
Ovation Circle members will receive priority seating for all Broadway Series and Family Series shows if subscriptions are purchased. They will also receive priority seating for certain shows from outside presenters and for other special events presented by The Granada during the year. Though we will gladly assist our Ovation Circle members in securing the best available seats for our resident company performances, by prior arrangement, we are unable to guarantee assigned priority seats for those events.

Where are the Ovation Circle seats?
In the orchestra section, Ovation Circle members occupy the desirable center sections and aisle seats of rows D through J. Members also occupy Balcony Row E, the fourth row center, right behind the cross aisle, with plenty of leg room. All locations feature some of the best sightlines and acoustics in the hall.

Who gets seating priority?
Priority is based on chronological order of commitment to the campaign. Once reserved, the seats are yours to renew or release each year. New members will be assigned to the best Ovation Circle seating available.

How do I join?
Shortly after we receive your gift or pledge, you will receive a seating assignment in the Ovation Circle. Simply fill out the form confirming your seat assignment and seat plaque naming, then place the form in the return envelope with your check for the first year’s membership fees.

After I reserve my seats, how do I order subscriptions?
Once your Ovation Circle membership is confirmed and paid for, please contact our box office at 899-2222 to purchase your tickets for the Broadway Series and/or the Family Series. All subscriptions and single tickets must be purchased separately at the going rate charged for each concert or show.

Is there some kind of deadline on subscription ticket orders?
Your seats will be reserved for you until the subscription renewal deadline. After that, those seats will be released to other subscribers or single ticket buyers. The Granada will notify all Ovation Circle members well in advance of those deadlines.

Can I sit in my own seats for non-subscription events as well?
We will make every effort to work with promoters and outside presenters to offer our Ovation Circle members priority seating before non-subscription event tickets go on sale to the general public. However, since many of these outside agents simply rent the theatre, each one will ultimately determine their own ticket policy.

Will anything indicate that the seats are mine?
Ovation Circle members receive personalized seat plaques located on the arm of each seat. Your plaques will remain on your seats until you decide to relinquish membership in the Ovation Circle.

Can I be “bumped” in a year if a bigger donor comes along?
As long as you wish to maintain your seats and are willing to pay your annual premium, you cannot and will not be bumped. This is our commitment to those who gave in our “hour of need.” In fact, all Ovation Circle seat reservations are transferrable and can be assigned to family members upon written notice from the donor or through bequest.

Will you sell out the Ovation Circle?
With only a few spaces remaining, we expect that the Ovation Circle will sell out soon, so we encourage anyone interested in joining to send in their pledge form as soon as possible.

Is there any way of joining after the opening season?
If an Ovation Circle member does not wish to renew his or her annual reservation after the first full season, the first person on our waiting list will be offered that seat location.

Can I give my seats to someone else for a particular event?
Of course. The ticket is yours to give away.

Can I sell my seats to someone else?
No. The resale of seats is unauthorized and “scalping” is prohibited. If you cannot attend an event, we encourage you to donate your tickets back to the box office as early as possible. Your donation becomes a tax-deductible contribution.
